Visita de Obra 2021

The book Visita de Obra 2021 visually narrates the process of creating a concrete building with a bas-relief texture designed by Jorge Urias Studio. During the site visits we gradually recorded the history of the construction and its talented personalities who made the project a reality, through the photographic documentation of Oscar Reynaldo, a member of our design team.

In the following pages you will be able to observe how the building took shape; how the wooden formwork were painstakingly prepared on site, how the concrete was poured, and each of the 28 individual, 4 to 8 ton, walls were erected and set in its final place against the steel frame.

The 500 square meter building is built through a tilt-up system of cast-in-site concrete panels. This method offers us the opportunity to capture on the final finish of the wall, a low-relief pattern with our design of diagonal lines that are part of the architectural identity of the Plaza Tres Torres commercial complex in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

This is the second building with the same construction system based on tilt-up walls presented by Jorge Urias Studio in the city.

We are pleased to thank the entire administration and project management team, as well as the construction team, designers, architects and our client, the investment partners, and all those involved in the materialization of this great project.
