VARDIYA - la Biennale di Venezia - Roundtable - Pavilion of Turkey

Jorge Urias was invited to speak at the 16th International Architecture Exhibition in La Biennale di Venezia at the Pavilion of Turkey, in one of their 50 digital meeting sessions.

Curated by Kerem Piker and coordinated by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts, the Pavilion of Turkey, “Vardiya / The Shift” is conceived in response to the theme of Freespace, the title of the Biennale Architettura 2018, and offers a program of public events providing an open space for encounter, exhibition and production.

Throughout the Biennale, the curatorial program will welcome 120 international architecture students to participate in 12 workshops, 6 lectures from keynote speakers, and 50 digital meetings with selected architects, academics, professionals and visitors from a range of disciplines.

Vardiya / The Shift, is taking place from May 26th to November 25th 2018, at the Sale d’Armi, Arsenale.
