Departamentos Villa Serena Etapa 03 / DVS 03

DVS 03 is a new sector inside Villa Serena Apartments in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

This project consists of three buildings with 48 new residential units organized in three volumes with three levels. Each of these volumes are aligned and oriented on the site responding to the axis found in the existing development. These axes shaped the buildings and were the foundations for our design. The 1 and 2 bedroom rental apartments have an exterior perimeter based on balconies and open terraces located between closed brick volumes, which also operate as storage spaces and services towards the interior.

The new DVS 03 design by Jorge Urias Studio echoes the architecture of the existing apartment complex and translates it into a contemporary form that responds specifically to the site.
