Benito Greene Arte Público

Benito Greene Arte Público is a project that brings contemporary art to the border community, by the exhibition of art in public spaces and promoting emerging artists.

The project seeks the exhibition of experimental and progressive art that reflects modern society, provoking conversations with art on an urban scale, and using temporarily empty billboards, with artworks by invited artists and emerging artists.

The name Benito Greene is born as a combination of the renowned Mexican hero Benito Juárez in honor of whom Ciudad Juárez was named, and the neighborhood of Fort Greene in Brooklyn, New York, where our studio is based.
